Matt McCabe is a multimedia journalist for KWTV News 9, the CBS affiliate in Oklahoma City. Before coming to Oklahoma, he worked as a reporter, producer, anchor and photojournalist at stations in Illinois and Missouri.
But before becoming a multimedia journalist, he was a photographer for a weekly newspaper in Kansas. His passion for visual journalism has taken him across the country, and now he pays it forward by serving as a board member for the National Press Photographers Association.
His work has been recognized by several organizations, including a Mid-America Emmy Award and a Regional Edward R. Murrow Award.
